tiziana lo porto: Tiziana Lo Porto was born in Bolzano, Italy, in 1972, and has lived in Algiers and Palermo. She currently lives between Rome and New York City, where she is a journalist for La Repubblica and its magazines il Venerdì, D and XL, and translates and writes books and comics. She has translated the works of Joseph Conrad, Charles Bukowski, Tom Wolfe, Michael Faber, A.M. Homes, Pamela Des Barres, Michael Muhammad Knight, James Franco and Jim Carroll. Her first book "Superzelda: The Graphic Life of Zelda Fitzgerald", illustrated by Daniele Marotta, has been published in Italy (minimum fax 2011), Spain and South America (451editores 2012), the U.S. and Canada (One Peace Books 2013), France (Éditions Sarbacane 2014).
